Bohri women have united to raise awareness of a very hush-hush taboo topic of Female Genital Mutilation. Even today educated Bohris circumcise their girls (under no anesthesia) to keep their desires subdued. Their clitoris hood is cut off when they are very small. Even expats and NRIs get it done to their daughters. It is a terribly cruel and non-Islamic procedure – a hand me down African tribal custom. To raise awareness and get His Holiness Syedna to ban this cruel ritual they are sending razor blades to him as a protest. Join in here and raise your voice against this brutal act
